Lock 'em up and throw away the key...or alternative programs?

Waste of money? Money well-spent?

What is success/failure?

Find out in a SNA-hosted "Better Understanding" Event. A panel of 4 speakers will tell us what the City is doing under the Mayor's initiative for sustained criminal justice reform and then the panel will focus on juveniles in our justice system and what alternatives there are to secure detention.

Mayor Krewson starts us off at 7:30 with broad City updates. Panel discussion starts at 8:00 PM with an overview and goals and then the juvenile justice system and alternatives to secure detention. You'll even find out ways organizations and individuals can help. Audience questions begin at 8:30 PM and we'll close at 9:00 PM. Agenda

Join us Wednesday, January 8, cafeteria, St. Mary Magdalen, 4924 Bancroft. Plenty of parking at the church and then in the lot on the north side of Bancroft.
